Dating in Captivity; meeting in the age of social distance

Online Continuing Education Event

Friday, May 29, 2020 | 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Details

Originally called "Don't Kiss That Frog", this workshop invites people to talk about the challenges of dating within the actual circumstances in which we find ourselves. Does Zoom provide a good enough way to know what it feels like to be with another person?  Are there any advantages to socially distant dating?  Are there ways to get to know people without arousing too much discomfort or anxiety?  Bring your dating questions and answers and let's generate some hopeful ideas about dating in captivity.

Presenter:

Mara Wagner, Psya.D., Cert. Psya. is a faculty member and the Outreach Director of BGSP. A frequent presenter in the Continuing Education series, she is often asked for dating advice, humorously called "the Wagner method" by some.
